On tap at Beer Republic during SF Beer Week, what a week! Pours copper with gold edges and near white head. The aroma has modest levels of spicy hops, a touch of citrus and then some floral at the aromatic periphery. The taste is nice and crisp and fresh with spicy hops and then it gets sort of floral with bittering floral hops and then a light amount of floral flavor hops. Yummers.

11oz glass on tap from Keystone in Clifton. Mostly clear orange yellow color. Good thicker off-white head. Respectable thicker splotches and ropes of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Nice citrus hop note, but it’s not over the top, balanced well by lighter caramel malt, some good clean biscuity malt, with a lightly peppery finish. Nice moderate bitter taste, little sweet. Good, balanced pale ale.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear light orange pour with a sticky white head. Meld of citrus and pine resin. A touch of earthy tones but more caramel malt than that. Pretty solid.

FROTHINGSLOSH (4843) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2014
Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a small foamy yellow-white head that faded quickly but left good lacing. The aroma was tart and tangy lemon and yeast. The flavor was bitter, thin and watery with vague tart citric acid and a bit of grapefruit. Medium length tart citrus finish. Medium body. Disappointing.
