| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Tap at BT. Cali Common? Was listed at BT as a czech pils I think which is more what this beer is supposed to be I think. At least it tasted that way. Pours a light slight chill haze- slight deep golden with a thin lasting pure white head- some lace. Aroma is nice and bready- light toast, slight sweetness, and a good czech saaz hop profile. Flavor is crisp clean- doughy, nice fresh pils malt and a nice floral and spicy hop backbone- good bitter and crisp finish. Nice Pils. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA

Fruity hop flavor with some malt. Medium bodied. Fruity hops linger with malt and some spice. JohnC (2253), Mission Viejo, California, USA

Near medium body with spritzy carbonation. Dry and nobly bitter. Finishes mildly bitter and perhaps astringent. Tasty for a blonde lager. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2009 Tap at The Gate. Hazy amber beer with a lovely pale malt aroma. Clean and lightly malty with a very fresh grassy/lemon hop aroma. Zesty and herbal with a soft clean malt base. Really refreshing and very well-constructed. Man... this is a great summer session beer and I really hope we see this in NYC again soon. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Tap at The Gate: Slightly hazy golden with an off-white ring of head. The aroma has a nice hops presence- grassy American hops with a dry bready malt back. The carbonation is creamy and slightly sticky. There’s some flowery hop notes in the fore flavor, giving way to crackery malt and grainy notes toward the dryish finish. Some mildly spicy American hops linger on the back. A solid session beer.
