joshwilfong (478), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 21, 2008 hazy and golden with solid head, but slightly low carbonation for a hefeweizen. flavor of sweet wheat with some esters, not ann overpowering taste. balanced, but no major hop component. not a great hefeweizen and by far the weakest Bear Republic beer I have had aspidites (1268), manteca, California, USA Nov 26, 2007 Lots of banana, clove and lemon notes. Nice mouthfeel with high carbonation. Very lemony with lots of clove on the palate. Clean and crisp finish. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Healdsburg Hefe Weizen

Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Oct 29, 2006 tap at pizzera paradiso in DC. lightly cloudy dark yellow with a sudsy white head. looks more filtered than expected. big banana and clove and lightly estery. nothing really speical nose wise. sweet banana and light grains on the flavors. pretty straight forward and somewhat boring. definatley decent for session drinking but nothing else. long banan and grainy finish. a decent attempt at this style and cool to try one of the non-bottled bear republic beers. pivo (2481), Germany Aug 29, 2006 This is a decent brew, but dissappoints in the end. Starts with a big hefe nose - banana and clove. Nice. Looks a little dark, but with a nice amber hue. Low head - not the fluffy hw you’d want. spicy hoppy end that destroys the wheat malt tastes. Medium thick body.
