Fruity, flowery aroma. Pours a reddish brown with off-white head. Medium body with plenty of hops and malt character. Noticeable spicy contribution by the rye. Overall, a very enjoyable brew.

Well balanced hops. Spicy rye on the nose with deep, ruby/amber color. Fresh, grassy but chewy when it hits the mouth then quickly smacks you with the earthy Rye although I wish the Rye was a bit stronger. Overall great beer.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Beautiful copper-orange color with a medium beige head that lingers and laces the glass. Average carbonation. Aroma of floral, citrus, and pine. Taste of mango, pine, citrus, rye with bready malt arriving later in the taste to balance out the hops. Spicy. Medium body with only a slightly bitter finish for a beer with such high IBU. Looking forward to drinking this beer again.

From the pour I got a deep ruby red body with some carbonation and a tall light beige head. The head is thick and long lasting which makes for some think clingy lace patterns on the glass. The aroma has deep lemon pith and lemon oil like hops with a touch of resiny pine like hops too. I am also getting rye bready and lots of roasted/toasted malt. There is a heavy concentrated hit of resiny pine and citrus hops backed up by a deep solid hit of dark roasted grain, caramelized malt, raison like dark fruit and toasted rye bread. The ABV is fairly well hidden but does add a touch of sweetness and warmth to the overall character which is intense. The finish is long and full of hop bitterness that very slowly fades off the tongue. Under this I also pick up some mellow sweet alcohol and a hint of an almond like toasted note. It has a very deep and complex finish.

Bottled, 355ml from The Hand in Hand, Brighton Kemptown. Clouded ruby amber with off white head. Fruity and full aroma leading through to the beer, sweetish, tropical fruits, slightly aggressive bitterness. Good stuff.
