COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our traditional Oktoberfest beer, brewed to be enjoyed through out the fall. Big dry malty biscuit flavors are balanced by an alcohol warmth and sweetness. Crisp hop bitterness and Noble hop aroma round off this seasonal lager. Prost!

Overall Impression: Solid Octoberfest style beer, not necessarily a style with lots of range but this one gets the job done.

Growler from Big Z pours a transparent copper orange with a creamy white head. Nose is mild, malty, sweet fall fruit, a little metallic, some mild citrus. Flavor is also mild, sweet, apples, a little yeast, some lemon, a little orange zest. Finish is dry. Simple, crisp and drinkable.

Draft at iTap-Soulard, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. One of a bunch of BR beers on tap as part of the "Farewell Missouri" tour. Aroma is fairly light, with toasted grains, grass, straw, crackers, and mild spice. Flavor is better, with toasted and sweet malts, cereal, and grassy hops. Light-bodied, with a malty, toasty, smooth mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Good marzen.

Nice full malt aroma. Caramel. Clear deep orange with sustained, but small, head. Full chewy mouthfeel. Nice, but could be more interesting. Bitter spike on back palate lingers a little too long and makes it a little disjointed.
