2012-12-08. Crisp dark yellow body with a small white head and lace. 3+ Interesting hoppy flavour, lemon, light not quite fruity yeasty quality, modest bitterness throughout, mild grassy hops, lemon lingers. Modest hoppy aroma, lemon grows and lightly funky yeast. 7+ Average palate is pleasantly carbonated. 3+ Enjoyable. (Edit: This was an Oktoberfest? Really? Okay.) On tap at Coles, Buffalo

Smells malty and pours with good head and lacing. Cloudy orange colour. Taste has lots of malt and that sneaky noble hops aroma that gets in there. A little caramelized malt in taste. On tap at coles.

I had this on tap at the Vine St. Pub and I would have liked more info about it suhc as whether it used fresh or wet hops. Based upon the name I assume it must. The color was dark orange and oily on the top, sticky lacing too. The flavor was really minty and herbal hops, I was intrigued. I swear I also tasted licorice too. This was good and unlike any lager I’ve had.

Draft at ebp. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a dense and creamy tan head. Caramel, gingerbread, and fallen leaves on the nose. Creamy medium body--amazingly dimensional presence. Toast, nuts, caramel, gingerbread and dry leaves on the mid palate. Long toasty dry finish. Great forward power to the flavor profile, but beautifully harmonious and approachable. This one’s in that sweet spot.

Tap at the Gingerman. The look is golden to orange in color with a foamy beige head. The smell is leafy, hops, caramel, and sweet. The taste is sugary, hops, fruits, and citrus.
