I have wanted to try this for years, back before it was bottled I think. The 22oz bomber pours with a murky presumably hop hazed copper to gold body that supports a thin off white head. The modest aroma offers up malts and then slivers of juicy citrus hops mixed with floral, grassy and dank onion like hoppiness. The taste begins smooth with malts and soft flavor hop notes. The hops become briefly juicy with citrus and mango before full flavored bitter and resiny hops take over. It has an even blend of bitter citrus hops, grassy to pine hops and then bitter floral, dank onion and slightly earthy tea hoppiness. Pretty damn solid. It would be great to try this fresh on tap at some point.

Bottle. Deep tangerine, cloudy, with a silky head of white froth. Aroma is a strangely pleasant blend of resinous, floral hops -- roses, chlorophyll, a little orange peel and booze. The flavor is more citrusy, packed with sweet grapefruit pith and a dollop of floral honey. Milky medium body; mild, tingly CO2. Good not great.

Hazy orange pour with a single finger head. Aroma is juicy. Taste is sweet, like sugary citrus. Big bitter finish. Dank aroma creeps in as it warms. Lace present. Medium mouth. Super bitter.

Bottle from Safeway in Redwood City. Pours a light orange amber with creamy, off-white head. Aroma is orange peels, marmalade, candied tangerines, pine. Sweet marmalade on the front with a big bitter peel and alcohol finish. This will surely blast you!

22 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Chesapeake, VA. Dark orange pour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of tangerine, mango, and pine. Very nice bitter hop taste of pine needles, wet grass, grapefruit, and tropical fruit. Long lasting bitterness and noticeable alcohol. A great tasting DIPA.

Lots of citrus, caramel and resin. Sweet malt. Good balance for style. Bitter sweet finish. Good, though nothing extraordinary. Tap at Churchkey.

Bomber to pint glass. Pours hazy amber with sediment. White head dissipates to ring with good lacing. Aroma of pine, grass, malts, apricot and orange. Taste is peppery with thick syrupy mouthfeel and mid carb. Extreme amount of hops and malts unbalanced into a boozy abrasive finish. Not bad for a beast though.
