COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This extreme Double Imperial IPA is brewed with American Cascades and English First Gold hops for a deliciously unique hop profile. Bitter, malty, with a definite alcohol note, this beer is one of our most assertive and extreme.

Draught at Monk Cafe SF. Light clean grapefruit, thin but nice hop smells. Light orange hazy beer with great lace in rings. Taste starts sweet but becomes intensely bitter, itís dominating feature. The mouthfeel, dry and soft. An amazing mouthfeel on a pretty looking beer but the rest is surprisingly lacking for Bear Republic.

On tap at Mad Mex. Cloudy orange brown with a pillowy off-white head. Nose is orange, caramel and dough with hints of pine. Creamy medium body with a lively tingle. Taste is grapefruit, orange peel, caramel, pine and lemon basil. Not a total hop bomb but still tasty with good balance.

citrus hop fruit overload. fresh malt overload, with a touch of malt funk. heavyish alcohol burn and formidable body in itís deep amber color. some refinement held in check. too much is never enough.

10oz pour is a basically opaque bright orange with a frothy white head. Note is standard for a DIPA, malty, pine, oranges, grapefruit. Flavor is sort of straight forward too, lemon bitterness, malty sweetness, candied orange. Full bodied, sweet finish. Alcohol is warming without being hot.

Great beer but have had more impressive doubles ipa. Has a great taste and mouthfeel. Love the lingering biterness no head retention although my server does not know how to pour a sprite from a good beer

Keg at The Pony Bar, NYC. Pours clear gold with a fine, white head. Heavy hop aroma, deep pine, light caramel, ripe grapefruit. Medium to big sweet flavor, soft toasty malts and toasty sugars, pine and thick citrus bitterness. Full bodied with average carbonation. Very subtle warmth in the finish, sticky pine and resins, sweet toast. Very juicy with slight bubblegum notes. Pretty tasty DIPA.

On tap somewhere in San Diego...backlogged rating in my phone. Deep golden color with medium carbonation. Aroma is hardcore orange citrus. Flavor is overwhelming lemon and orange citrus with a heavy malt base...I like my DIPAís like this. Malty backbone is a bit too sweet though...lower double IPA bitterness than expected. OK I guess.

On tap. Cloudy gold color with a dense big head that laces till the end. Big hop, citrus, pine nose. Bitter hop attacks and great finish.
