Draft at ebp. Pours a cl e ar medium amber with golden brown edges and a dense and creamy white head that goes away right away. Mild sweet candied oranges on the nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, oranges, and grapefruit mid palate with a sweetish finish. Too sweet and mild to justify the name or abv.

Tap. Reddish brown tea-like pour with half a finger of head. White pepper, floral, vanilla, Asian spices, banana, raisin. Medium to full body. Slightly bitter finish. Body seems to overwhelm the aroma and flavor a bit but good

Publik House Draught. Fairly typical of big west coast IPA’s. Good, well rounded, worth drinking.

Draft. Pours a hazy golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is on the mild side and has caramelized malt, tangerine and citrus, herbal notes and a touch of pepper. The flavor has peppery spice, caramelized malt, tangerine and oranges with a strong general bitterness at the back. Some alcohol comes through as it warms. medium to medium plus body.

From a draft pour at The Local Beer Bar in Eureka, CA..Pours an orange - amber with a creamy off white head and a lot of lacing. This is sort of like Racer 10 on steroids. Nose of citrus and pine. Full body and bit of an alcoholic mouthful, but not overly so. The flavor is powerful, with lots of bittering hops. and the finish is long, dry and intensely biter. Very tasty and as a DIPA fan right up my alley. Loved it.

Hazy deep orange color, small white head. Rye-bready, piney-hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet, quite alcoholic, bready, piney. Lingering sweet malty fruityness in the aftertaste with some herbal notes.

ROGUE (2145) - Newark, Delaware, USA - MAR 9, 2012
On tap (State Line Liquors tasting). Poured a clear dark amber almost with an off white head that had good head retention and lace. A big aroma of hops, citrus and pine. Taste is a nice balance of sweet malts and citrus hops that leave a nice lingering bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied with a chewy yet slick character and a bitter finish that diminishes as the beer warms.

Draught at Monk Cafe SF. Light clean grapefruit, thin but nice hop smells. Light orange hazy beer with great lace in rings. Taste starts sweet but becomes intensely bitter, it’s dominating feature. The mouthfeel, dry and soft. An amazing mouthfeel on a pretty looking beer but the rest is surprisingly lacking for Bear Republic.
