Pass through the event horizon with this IPA2. American Cascades meld a citrus blast with spicy English First Golds. Savor an intense hoppiness, smooth bitterness and subtle malt character. Prepare to go hypersonic!

Great beer but have had more impressive doubles ipa. Has a great taste and mouthfeel. Love the lingering biterness no head retention although my server does not know how to pour a sprite from a good beer

650 ml bottle. Enjoyed at Los Angeles, CA. Pours a hazy golden amber colour with a small head. Aroma of citrus, resin, biscuit and orange sweetness. Flavour of nice biscuity maltiness, grapefruit, resiny bitterness, caramel and some herbal notes. Almost full bodied. Heavily hopped resiny finish. Nice.

650ml bottle

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, chewy candy, grass, citrus and pine. Taste is stingy, spicy and hoppy with some caramely malts, toffee, grass and citrus. Finish is stingy hoppy, stuffy and sweetish with some resin, caramel and toffee. Quite stingy.

65 cl bottle @ hotel room, Los Angeles. Aroma has sweet fruit candy and grapeftuit. Also caramel. Flavour has gluey tones, caramel and tropical fruits. Also menthol. Arona was promising but flavour is just too gluey.

Aroma of clove, orange, hops, and pine, touch of malt and alcohol. Taste is similar but also has a solid pine and hop bite, not as complex as the smell actually. Was a beautiful blood orange dark coloring, white thick head that retained some lacing. Really beautiful. The taste is too impactful, this should’ve gone a tad lighter and it would’ve been perfect

8/4/15. On tap at Kickback’s. Golden pour with a small off-white head. Nice aroma, lots of great hoppiness, citrus, some pine, spice. Good but disappointing flavor, lighter hop character, more malt presence, light caramel. Not bad.

On tap at Oskar Blues Liquids and Solids. Second time randomly had a Bear Republic hoppy brew there. Pine and citrus, strongly overlayered and a bit rough. Some of BR’s hoppy stuff has been good and some is just ok. Unfortunately .... 13.6

Bottle. Amber pour with a tall white head. Aroma is big pine and floral hops with zesty notes, caramel and citrus. Taste is big spicy hops, caramel, citrus, floral hops, pine and hop resins. Body is medium-full and very chewy with a dense, creamy carbonation. Very sticky as well with a slight warming during the finish. Ends with more caramel, citrus, spicy hops, floral notes, pine resins and hop oils. A big, oily, semi-sweet hop bomb!

On tap at Pinocchio’s. Apple cider color, next to no head. Ripe citrus fruit aroma. Huge citrus flavor, tangerine, orange and grapefruit. Some earthy, resinous hops as well. Huge bitter finish. Oily on the tongue. Big beer. Like!
