On tap somewhere in San Diego...backlogged rating in my phone. Deep golden color with medium carbonation. Aroma is hardcore orange citrus. Flavor is overwhelming lemon and orange citrus with a heavy malt base...I like my DIPA’s like this. Malty backbone is a bit too sweet though...lower double IPA bitterness than expected. OK I guess.

22 oz bottle. Amber with an average off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, light musk, spicy hops, and grass. Taste is of citrus, booze, spicy hops, pine and herbal notes.

Pours a hazy gold with a white head and lacing. It has a subtle aroma for a double IPA, with some citrus, grass, and floral notes. The flavor is spicy and herbal hops up front with a mild malty backbone and relatively bitter finish over a medium-heavy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at Davis Beer Shoppe... Clear golden orange... Citrusy hop aroma... Flavor is light malts, shockingly spicy hops with spicy finish on palate... Some citrus notes... Solid ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the source. Very hazy, orange with sediment. Aroma is. Orange sweetness. Not much else. Flavor is similar. Really not very complex. At all. Some earthy herb is also there. Can’t say what. Not very good.

Tap at Petrol Station. Amber pour, lacy white film. Aroma is light,a bit of tropical fruit, caramel. Taste is piney, some citrus and grapefruit peel. Bitter, light sweet finish. Medium body, not bad, but doesn’t really stand out for me.

Bomber in a tulip. Pours a clearish amber with a slight head that laces the glass well. The aroma is quite expressive with bitter citrus, mild sweet malt and tart green apple. A gulp is a spectrum of bitterness - grapefruit, orange, zest, pine sap, light malt and more citrus punch.

Bottle. A hazy golden color with a white head. A sickly sweet flavor and an under performing aroma. It has a full, rich, and bitter dry palate but lacks character in the aroma and flavor.

Dough like with a resin feel while a flavor punch hits you. Loving this release they did for the Japanese market.

Clear darkish amber pour with a nice white head. Some lacing. Juicy citrus hoppy nose. Hoppy citrus and one of the spiciest hoppy finishes I’ve had in a beer. A little heat on the finish with a touch of malt. Yummy.
