Tap: pours golden with medium whiye head. Nose is light with bready malt and orange. Flavor is malty with doughy bread, apricot and some orange. Palate malty thick with light bitters and some sweetness. Good flavors, but heavy on the palate.

Draught from tiger. Bours medium brown. Creamyish head. None too much aroma. Malty taste.

oranges and bready notes. Smooth malty body, but a bit too much hops for the style and clearly it use American hops.

On tap at Bear Republic in mid-June. Clear copper with a white head. Noble, grassy hops and a little toffee in the nose. Flavor starts with a prominent rush of caramel/toffee complemented by zesty, lemony noble hops. Some notes of fresh grass, light honey and hay. Some alcohol strength detected. (I believe this was 7% abv). Didn’t have that note of olive and light smoke that I picked up in other maibocks. Medium bodied with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Overall, enjoyable.

10 ounce sample tasted at Rubicon’s Maibock Festival. Very faint lightly sweet, lightly floral aroma. Hard to detect and not much else going on. This was my first beer of the day, too. Moderately hazy honey-colored body with a small, off-yellowish head present. Rubbery, smoked, floral notes with what seems to be a hint of juniper berries. A fair amount of toasted malts are present in the middle. Finishes a bit sweet with some lemony flavors and more floral presence. Different. Almost has some Sahti/Gotlandstrikke characteristics.
