3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Rattle n Hum (It’s east coast premier). Thanks Eyedrinkale! Pours a deep golden with an off white film of head. Fruity American hop aroma- peachy and fresh (Amarillo?) with a soft crystal malt sweet background. Creamy light body with a rounded crystal malt sweetness in the flavor as well, that leads to a nice American hops fruitiness of peach and mango notes. Mildly bitter with some toasted husky notes and toast toward the finish. A simple session with robust flavor for the ABV (doesn’t feel British).

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the brewpub. Light brown pour with a hefty white head. Citrus aroma also some biscuity malt business going on. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this has an IPA level of hops like a prior reviewer did, but it certainly does pack a wallop for a sub 5% beer. Nice floral hop and crisp malt flavors. Solid brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the Hopyard. Want a sessionable beer that actually tastes like something? This is your beer! At only 4.8%. this beer borders on the IPA taste scale in terms of hops. Pours a clear brown with white head. Not very carbonated - but definitely not oxidized. Aroma is slightly fruity and grassy. For a bitter, this has some good hop florals. The flavor is a nice bitter with fruity notes in between the breadyness of the malt.
