3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hell Yeah!!!! I tried on draft at Craft Heads, which stated the beer as 5%, but I will assume that is a mistake. Beautiful amber/copper color. Nose isn’t overly bitter or aggressive in any way, but the hops let you know they are there. The malt profile is likely N. American with excellent balance, mildly fruity and earthy, with subtle, but very present bitterness. The bitterness just sticks around until next week, but is never aggressive. Extremely drinkable, highly enjoyable. Finally an American brewer that nails a English Ale under 5%. Give me another pint or five!

On tap at RFD in Washington D.C. Pours a translucent copper amber with a thin, white head. Aroma is fairly standard, mild hops, slightly metallic. Flavor was fine, again, nothing wild. Some average citrus bitterness and some crackery malts rounding things out. Dry finish. This was average at best.

sample: RNH: not sure why this is in my notes, maybe Pwn3d can explain "hot dogs in a vagina!"... that can’t be a good thing for this beer! Mild hops, very even tempered a "nice"... nothing stand out at all though.
