3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the Bear Republic Brewpub in Healdsburg, CA this came in the glass a clear amber color with a very small white head typical of a pub pour. Left good sticky lacing rings however. Nose was of caramels malts adn some grassy hops. Good clean mouthfeel. Flavor is somewhat bitter as is the finish. A very nice and easy drinking beer.

3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught at brewpub. It is possible that this is the same brew as their Late Harvest Fest Lager although the last rating for that brew was in Dec-06. Contacted the brewer for clarification and will update accordingly. Faint aroma. Dark, clear amber body with very little carbonation. Slightly off-white head and excellent lace. Good hop punch with sweetness to balance. Malty finish. Nice beer! One of the best o’fests I’ve had.
