@Ginger Man-on tap-pours a thin retaining off white head and gold color. Aroma is earthy (not sure if its from malt or hops), citrus. Taste is earthy, citrus. Nice, easy.

Draft @ the brewery. Yellow and clear, lime added by the server... light and crisp, kolsch-like with a sweet grass note... light, but flavorful. Consumed at 11am on our summer vacation while passing through... mmmmm. Weird that I'm against the grain on this one... IMO it was a well made lager.

Tap@Bear republic Brewpub. Gees, they make such great beer, so i guess this was a surprise, just a bland, slightly cleaner Mexican lager.

On tap at the Bear Republic Brewpub in Healdsburg. A golden color with a small white head and light lacing . Medium body and light mouthfeel. Light malts and floral and citrus nose. Flavor of caramel malts and a light bitter finish. Good session beer.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2004 (Draft: Bear Republic Brewery in Healdsburg, CA) Light, thin and mildly bitter, the flavor lacks any malt character, so the mild corn is the dominant flavor here; It has more flavor than a Corona, but is just as unpleasant to drink; Smells like a cheap pale lager: corn, mildly sweet, no hops; Pale yellow color; White head fades to a sheen, leaving some patchy lacing that looks like vines hanging down

Draught @ Papago

The beer after its pour from the tap sets in the glass a limpid amber color with the head modest in size and a semi-creamy off white color, the resultant lace a thin but concealing sheet. Nose is the prototypical sweet malt, fresh and clean, start sweet with a nice malt presence, the top light to moderate in feel. Finish is pleasantly acidic; the hops mild and pleasing to the palate, the aftertaste dry and clean, a nice session beer with its relatively low ABV, certainly worth a sample.

On tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a crisp clean golden body with a small white swirling head. Creamy, malty mildly citrus nose with an easy and approachable body. Very much all the qualities that I like with Modelo but even better. Super session beer.
