Draught @ Papago

The beer after its pour from the tap sets in the glass a limpid amber color with the head modest in size and a semi-creamy off white color, the resultant lace a thin but concealing sheet. Nose is the prototypical sweet malt, fresh and clean, start sweet with a nice malt presence, the top light to moderate in feel. Finish is pleasantly acidic; the hops mild and pleasing to the palate, the aftertaste dry and clean, a nice session beer with its relatively low ABV, certainly worth a sample.

On tap at Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a crisp clean golden body with a small white swirling head. Creamy, malty mildly citrus nose with an easy and approachable body. Very much all the qualities that I like with Modelo but even better. Super session beer.

@Ginger Man-on tap-pours a thin retaining off white head and gold color. Aroma is earthy (not sure if its from malt or hops), citrus. Taste is earthy, citrus. Nice, easy.

Draft @ the brewery. Yellow and clear, lime added by the server... light and crisp, kolsch-like with a sweet grass note... light, but flavorful. Consumed at 11am on our summer vacation while passing through... mmmmm. Weird that I'm against the grain on this one... IMO it was a well made lager.

On tap at Bear Republic in mid-June. Light golden with a white head. Very light, slightly grainy nose. A Mexican lager but different from Corona due to some light caramel flavor and it has more hop character. Notes of grain, grass and a touch of lemon. Medium/light bodied with lively carbonation. Solid lager.

On tap @Papago, Az. Dark golden color. Pale floral aroma. Somewhat flavorfull, mellow on the palate. Has some sweet grassy notes. Aftertaste leaves a sour, bitter flavor. A step above some lagers, just needs more character.

Clear golden color with a light head. Malty aroma with some sawdust. Flavor is grainy and lightly sweet. Not bad, about the best you can do in a pale lager.
