JB175 (1269), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 6, 2008 Clear golden color with a light head. Malty aroma with some sawdust. Flavor is grainy and lightly sweet. Not bad, about the best you can do in a pale lager.
jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 14, 2008 @Ginger Man-on tap-pours a thin retaining off white head and gold color. Aroma is earthy (not sure if its from malt or hops), citrus. Taste is earthy, citrus. Nice, easy. jasonp (1423), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Aug 22, 2007 On tap at Bear Republic in mid-June. Light golden with a white head. Very light, slightly grainy nose. A Mexican lager but different from Corona due to some light caramel flavor and it has more hop character. Notes of grain, grass and a touch of lemon. Medium/light bodied with lively carbonation. Solid lager. Tom Servo (425), Arlington, Virginia, USA Jun 19, 2005 Very light color. No head. Almost sour smell. Kinda like Miller Lite. Not much here, tastes like Tecate. Gusler (2656), Tucson, Arizona, USA Mar 6, 2005 Draught @ Papago
The beer after its pour from the tap sets in the glass a limpid amber color with the head modest in size and a semi-creamy off white color, the resultant lace a thin but concealing sheet. Nose is the prototypical sweet malt, fresh and clean, start sweet with a nice malt presence, the top light to moderate in feel. Finish is pleasantly acidic; the hops mild and pleasing to the palate, the aftertaste dry and clean, a nice session beer with its relatively low ABV, certainly worth a sample.
