Clear, dark, ruby-brown beer with a tan head. OK label, US bomber, good cap. Pleasant aroma - in spite of all the sweet, maltiness, the yeast really comes through. Dark syrup/molasses notes - it’s a bit like a beer that a buddy made with just homemade cane syrup. A good, strong bittering counteracts the sweetness. Chalk, light chocolate. Very enjoyable. Session body. Immediate finish is a sweet flash, then it trails off as a mild bitterness. Market Square Liquors, Timberlane.

3/13/13. So many 3s. Brown pour with a nice tan head that sticks and laces well. Light chocolate and maltiness with a solid dose of citrus and piney hoppiness. Surprisingly rich, malty flavor with chocolate, nuttiness, dryness, piney hops, and lingering dryness. Tasty!
