Suds_McDuff (976), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Jul 12, 2008 Silky and very drinkable brown ale... nice roast chocolate aroma .. some nice flavours too, but in truth, doesn’t wow me ... abv is hidden nicely .. drinkable and respectable but nothing that special... ’where are you gonna run’ 9:05 - greg packer ’unknown’ joekinty (154), rockledge, Florida, USA Jul 6, 2008 chocolate aroma nice white head huge laces well nice brown sugar nd molases in the backround with some hopy bitternes to finish things off nhorween (488), New York, New York, USA Jul 2, 2008 22oz. Smells like hop rod rye without the rye and tastes like an ordinary brown ale. Decent hops in there, and nicely drinkable. Spiced apple and vanilla dessert notes in the aroma. Smells better than it tastes. I’d session it. AllAboutStout (406), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 1, 2008 On draft.
Pours brown in color with a nice half inch of head. Smell is fairly hoppy for a brown. No problems with that. Fairly big on the mouthfeel as well. Plenty of the brown malts and sugars to make this good, but then hits you with some more hops. Easy drinking and very tasty. Good beer. UselessGdTaste (352), Long Beach, California, USA Jun 21, 2008 A fairly unusually large hop usage in this brown ale. I didn’t get as much of the malt as I wanted to. However it was quite drinkable, especially¥ if you like Pale Ales.
