Pour is a orange with a nice big white head. Aroma is deffinatly hops. Flavor is subdued hops followed up with a nice offering of malts. It is a bit sweeter than most IPA’s like it says on the bottle. Decent attempt and the price is right, only $3 a bomber.

Lucky enough to get this one right off the drag racing circuit. Deliciously golden with adoring hops, a soft biscuit mouth and a nice citrus, pine, and west coast redwood finish. Worth it’s weight in gold...

Had at the brewery pub. The beer was a bit of a disappointment, after reading all its press. Stuck fermentation perhaps? A bit too sweet, with hoips trying, and not succeeding to handle the cloying malt sweetness. Was not bad, but only average West Coast style.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2006 Sweet initial malt flavor. Average floral dry hopping. Big pale malt mouthfeel with some munich hints. Soft bitterness definitely malt forward. Finish is sweet and piney. To sweet for me I prefer a very dry IPA.

Hazy copper colour, rocky white head, lotsa floaties in there. Hops and citrus aroma. Rich hop bitterness backed by some malt. I’m just getting into ipa’s, but this is a good one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light amber color with a creamy white head. Strong citrus and hop aroma...almost pine. Sweet at first sip then the bitter kicks in as it rolls back. Refreshing aftertaste with a nice warm feeling on the way down. Def. worth a try if you’re in the mood for some hop.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a light amber resembling the Sierra Nevada. The head is very creamy and has good lacing. The carbonation sparkles through the glass almost like a Pilsner. The aroma is very hoppy with wine, pine, graitfruit and citrus and orange. The taste has a really nice maltiness which balances very well with the bitterness. The aftertaste is sweet and bitter at the same time kind of like candy. This beer is one of the best IPAs I have had the pleasure of tasting.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange with thin bubbly off-white head that leaves some nice lace and plenty of tiny floaties along with some big thick chunky ones. Aroma is of grapefruit and floral hops. Taste is very citrusy. Nice sweet malty backbone with a powerfully grapefruity slightly bitter hoppy finish. Higher ABV is well-hidden. Just as the commercial description says, this beer has a VERY hoppy taste but still manages a sweetness to it. Not much of the typical bitterness associated with a huge IPA. Very solid and extremely poundable IPA. Seems like a good sunny day beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I poured this bitch down the side of my angled glass and it still overflowed too quick. Huge frothy head that left tons of thick lacing to the side. Moderate hops and plenty tasty. Mild pine and floral aroma.
Probably great summer beer.
