Liked this one. Lots of Hops. Well carbonated. Piscator describes it as "Floral" (boy - he is good at describing beer). Wish we could get it here.

Draught. Clear burnt golden color with thin white head. Flowery hop nose and flavor with some sweet malty undertones. Bitter from start to finish.

In the bomber bottle purchased at Roof Bros. in Paducah. Dark gold to light amber in color with a white head. Chunky yeast particles form a near colloidal suspension. Strong hop-floral aroma reminescent of berries. Such a smooth palate! Taste is quite like a chocolate cherry truffle. Floral and fruity and mild, but definitely not over-hopped. Reminds me of a good tea. Smooth and easy to drink.

22oz bottle shared with mnurda (thanks buddy!). Light orange in colour with lots of carbonation and a bit of haze. Very floral aroma with some mild background notes of orange and black pepper. Medium bitterness, with flavor notes of green hop cone, orange, grapefruit, light (yet fairly sweet) malt, and a touch of pine. A bit light bodied for the style and AVB, but would be a good IPA for warmer weather drinking. Solid.

(01.27.06) One pint, 6 fl oz brown bottle purchased from DiCarlo’s, Mundelein, IL. Clear red amber hued ale having a small white head with spare lace. notable white particulates. Soft carbonation. Hoppy sweet malt aroma. Medium bodied that starts with light sweet malt and pronounced hop flavors. Finishes with light hop bitterness. Yum. .. Well balanced with pronounced hop profile. A luscious giant hoppy beer.

22 oz bottle. Thanks Walt. Clear, golden color with nice carbonation. Excellent hop aroma with plenty of citrus. It’s our kind of IPA: plenty or flavor & aroma hops without an intense amount of bittering hops. Simply delicious.

22 oz bomber. Pours a cloudy orange copperish color with a medium sized white head. Aroma has that classic piney west coast IPA scent, full of fresh hops. Taste is much the same. Lots of hops and fresh pine needles present along with a hint of malt. Aftertaste leaves a slight butterscotch flavor. Excellent.

Poured into a tulip with nice big frothy head with good retention and lacing. Spruce and citrus aroma. Beautiful deep, golden color. Heavy bitter taste. Light and slick. Lively with long bitter finish.

Bottle pours light orange with a small head with great lacing. This beer has an intersting malt flavor not apparent in most IPA’s. Great hop presence here, balanced with malty sweetness.

Nice pine and citrus aroma with a golden amber color. Great hoppy flavor but not too bitter. Very well balanced. One of the best IPA’s I have ever had.
