355 ml bottle courtesy of my secret santa joeneugs. Pours hazy golden with a rather small white head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet, fruity and slightly herbal with crackers, peaches, pineapple, toffee, grapefruit rinds, apricots, alcohol, papaya, tamarind, gummi candy, mango, black currants and hints of gooseberries and passion fruit. Taste is tiny sweet, very bitter and slightly fruity with crackers, biscuits, oily pine, grapefruit juice, resin, lemon zest, lime leaves, lemon grass, freshly cut grass, yellow winegums, ripe gooseberries, black currants jam and orange peal.mMouthfeel is round, tiny watery, tiny astringent, slightly oily bitter and light to medium bodied. Finish is dry and bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, yellow winegums, pine needles, resin, papaya, unripe pineapple and unripe gooseberries. Quite tasty...

Pours orangish gold with incredible clarity. Aroma is very fruity. Lots of orange and grapefruit. Taste is citrusy and astrigent, with a wallop of spiciness at the end that lingers.

"very good hoppy, aromatic beer. i liked everything from the floral nose, to the just right body and hopping level, to the hoppy, bitter finish. just enough malt to give it a nice backbone."

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2014 330ml bottle poured in a pint glass. A: Pours a clear orange golden color forming a medium, creamy and thin bubbled beige head. Good retention forming lots of thin and pointy lingering lacings in the glass S: Sweet pale grains. Very fruity. Strong notes of sweet pale grains, piny hops, grapefruit. Citrus orange zest, pine and flowery hops T: Follows the nose: Strong notes of flowey hops, orange zest M: Light body, medium carbonation and nice bitter and grassy aftertaste D: High. To be drunk in gallons (preferentially, sitting in a pub around the San Francisco bay area :p) [ BA Review @ 12/14/2010 ]
