Has a nice rich orange w/ frothy white head. Citrus and lemongrass w/ a hint of copper in the nose. Medium bodied w/ slight stickiness, but no real malt balance. Rather harsh, with a bitter snap.

Bottle from Phil shared with McTapps. Classic and classy one with decent hops and some floral moments. Accompanied by some herbs and spices. Mild and balanced ending. Fine one.

Bottle from trade with Phil - many thanks! Pours out in a golden-amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of fresh hops and spruce. Taste of fresh hops, coriander, thyme, pine, spruce, citrus fruits and mild spices. Nice balanced bitterness with a quaffable finish. Enjoyed it.

This is a classic IPA. Nice, full bodied with American hops and maltyness to finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(On tap at Penn Commons) Hazy orange body, thin white head. Sweet fruity aroma with pine and citrus. Medium body, a bit chewy. Noticeable alcohol; bright, acidic; citrus zest, strong bitterness; mostly dry but sweet aftertaste.

Probably the best IPA I’ve ever had, you have to try this if you like IPAs. This beer is so very hoppy and bitter - definitely one for those hop heads out there!

Bottle from bottle shop in Kirkwall. Pours a light golden yellow with lots of yeast flakes floating around. Nice white fluffy head which a hangs about. An aroma explosion of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Beautiful taste with similar tropical fruits and a lovely balanced hoppy kick. Incredible IPA.

Bottle. It’s a good beer it’s really never been my thing. Good classic American hop presence and solid bitterness up front, but I don’t care for the sweet, malty finish. Hand me one and I’ll drink it, but I never buy it.

Love it! another must on draft, but still tasty poured from the bottle. Probably my favorite beer so far

Poured from a bottle. Have had this on draft some years ago and I don?t recall it having such a sweet finish. Pleasantly bitter, but brewery needs to address the overpreponderance of a treacly malt, over-sweet finish.
