Commercial Description:
This is a hoppy IPA. Did I say hops? Your brewer is a hop head! This is a full bodied beer using American grains. The goal was to create a base for showing off the unique floral qualities of two Pacific Northwest hops, Columbus and Cascade. Columbus is a new hybrid High Alpha Acid hop used mostly for bittering, but used heavily as an aromatic in this strong brew. Cascade is the balance that ties the malt and bittering hops together. It is a true specialty ale and is our brewer’s statement on this style. 2004 L.A. A great statement on the unique California beer scene. A orange and hay yellow appearance with just the right about of light floating sediment is capped by a thin but resilient head. Slight citrus smell carries me into a full hoppy bitter taste that gets me right on the front of the palate. That bitterness was a bit harsh at first but grew on me quick. A true American beer through and through.

I really enjoy this beer. Small head, good lacing. Very hoppy flavor and aroma. Loaded with the standard pacific northwest hops. Has good bitterness balanced with slight caramel and a fuller body. A little fruity. Finishes very hoppy and slightly sticky. My only complaint is that i like it to be more dry in the finish.

A solid IPA. pours out a nice darker yellow color with a larger hard. aroma is full of hops, malt, citrus, and a bit of sweetness. Flavor was crisp and had that hoppy resin flavor i love so much. a great brew.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The color is a light amber with a nice white foamy head and some nice lacing. The smell is a bit hoppy with some nice cirus hop flavor. Some nice slight caramel feel and a bit of pale malt in the background. The taste is a nice hoppy poke at the beginning with some nice malt flavor rounding out the flavor and evening out the taste. Some nice hints of citrus and some floral hop. The malt flavor is also presented pretty nicely here as well. The feel of the beer is a nice crisp taste. A bit sharp at first but not overpowering. Some hoppy aftertaste.

Pours a hazy gold off white head lots of lacing on glass ... very nice citrus piney aroma and the taste was perfect for a hop head very citrusy definitely a little more fruity than the usual IPA taste dry finish and a great bitter bite at the end

Clear, very light, amber, almost yellow color. Prominent head with adequate lacing. Nose is decidedly hoppy, nice balance of citrus and pine. Palate is easy and inocuous, not too heavy, not too light. Lovely, soft texture, Super easy-drinking IPA, none of the bite or tang that define so many. Tidge of sweet, nice!
