bigguns22 (88), Maryland, USA Oct 23, 2009 Pours golden, opeaque with a froty white head. This is one of the best IPA’s that i had. Full of balance and complex flavors. This is a beer when you drink one, leaves you wanting another. Citurs flavors like grapefruit and lemons, finishing with tangerine and lime. Refrashing and creamy on the palate just a dynamite beer. slitcher (87), Freeport, Illinois, USA Oct 20, 2009 Pours a cloudy goild with a thick white head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Hoppy, but not overly so. Very nice balance of resinous hops and malt. A solid IPA. llcooldave (309), San Antonio, Texas, USA Oct 20, 2009 Very fruity floral aroma almost like berries & lavender. Nice dark golden in color. Clean spicy bitter hops flavor upfront that softens with a trailing sweet malt aftertaste. Overall, very complex and enjoyable to drink. shawnm213 (882), South Bend, Indiana, USA Oct 19, 2009 bottle. pours a hazy golden with a bath bubble white head. leaves some nice lace. notes of citrusy hops, orange peel, pine, caramel, and mellon. pretty good. well balanced. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Oct 18, 2009 Tap in the rake. Alround rating: Big citrusy character, loads of bitterness, the bodys there but its not full of as much caramalt as im used to meaning the citrusy bitterness seriously dominates. I never thought id say it but it seems a bit too bitter. thirdeye11 (403), Texas, USA Oct 17, 2009 (draught) pouts clear amber, creamy head and tons of lacing. Nose of pineapple, and citrus hops. Taste of sweet malts, oily body, creamy and no bitter linger. This is good. mcc5468 (102), USA Oct 16, 2009 Cloudy orange/amber pour. Aroma was citrus and pine. Head was medium with little lacing. Taste was hoppy but not overly so, citrus and pine. Godd solid IPa. Alcohol was well hidden. Good stuff. bsjay (54), Oregon, USA Oct 15, 2009 Very aromatic - piny, resinous and grapefruity. Enough malt to hold it all together, but not too assertive. A splendid IPA that I won’t mind revisiting.
