Bottle from Petaluma Market. Cloudy orange appearance with nice big fluffy white head. Lovely citrus tropical fruits aroma. Some pine. Fruity flavour with plenty of aggressive bitterness. Big, enjoyable and refreshing. Tasty stuff that belies it’s strength.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden amber/brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipates within less than a minute.
The smell had a nice allocation of bitter piney hops to bittersweet citrus hops. It ends up allowing a decent malt background to come in as the beer warms.
The taste was mainly bittersweet leaning more towards the bitter side, but lets a decent sweet citrus and slightly maltiness come in to balance nicely. There was a nice citrusy/piney sweet aftertaste and also a nice dry finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium with a decent sessionability running about my mouth and tongue. It had a decent sharp bitter assault on my mouth and tongue like a good AIPA should. The carbonation is harsh just as well.
Overall, in my opinion, this was a great AIPA well worthy of having again.

You can smell and taste a lot of hop. It is not a unbalanced beer. Bitter, medium body.

Nice Nose, lots of citrus. Malty taste, with a long bitter finish. Not much fruit in the taste.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
c’est une IPA résineuse et sec avec un nez plutôt subtile. J’ai bien aimé sa robustesse et son amertume prononcé

On tap at Justin's Cafe in the Navy Yard, DC. Pours orange copper with no head really. Aroma is light malt that is dominated by hops. Taste is similar. Well balanced with good flavors. One of the better IPAs out there IMHO.
