Hoppy flavour that has notes of grapefruit and pine. Bitter finish. ChrisJ (100), Warrenton, Virginia, USA Dec 21, 2008 22 oz. bomber. Blind taste test. Pours in copper with nice off white head and great lacing. Aroma was nice pine/resin hop aroma. Flavor was clean and bitter with great piney/citrus hop flavor. Nice medium bitter finish. Satisfying mid to light mouthfeel. Refreshing and pleasant. A great IPA. joeyplush (328), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 19, 2008 Pours a light copper color with a thick head and decent lacing. Aroma of floral and pine hops and lots of them, just the way I like it! Some slight hints of sweet malt to balance the scent. the hops are plentiful in the flavor as well, but not too overpowering, and very nicely balanced with sweet malt. This beer tastes just like youd expect from the aroma. Very excellent beer, whats most noteworthy is the balance. nickd717 (1276), Palo Alto, California, USA Dec 19, 2008 Updated: Feb 2, 2009A solid IPA with a good combination of smoothness and bitter, piney hoppiness. Great on tap or out of the bottle. Reminds me of a slightly toned down Stone Ruination. The guys at B-Rep rarely disappoint, and they definitely make a strong showing with this one. durhambeer (1187), Durham, USA Dec 17, 2008 Thank you, Jesus, for making these beers available in North Carolina. Bright golden orange pour with generous yellow-tinged off-white head. Citrusy aromas with light sweet pine. Fruity and fragrant. Nice bitter dry finish. Relatively simple and classic. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Dec 16, 2008 bomber into shaker. Really cloudy copper orange (the cloudiness is probably my fault since I carried it home in a backpack and opened it right away). Nice white head, creamy and lacy. Aroma has some great juicy hop character but also a bizarre malt/yeast character (again this might be my fault for agitating it before pouring). Good hop flavor - mostly piney and some citrus. Dry hop resin finish. Medium body with perfect amunt of carbonation. Good mouthfeel. Overall good but I should try a fresh bottle again and be patient enough to let it settle. Fin (3382), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 12, 2008 On Tap at the Gingerman, New York 20-11-08. Loz had, had this beer at Monks Café, Philadelphia on her Birthday 14-11-08 and had raved about it. Loz was right this was really tasty, would be happy to session on this stuff but strength might clobber me a little. Poured warm gold in colour, plenty of piney hops in here. My notes are very sketchy as this place was absolutely heaving and was being elbowed left right and centre. A7 A4 F7 P4 OV14 3.6
