Dec 6, 2008 Plain yellow color with some bubbles. Sweet grapefruit smell. Tastes like straight up hops. What make this beer exceptional is even though it has way too many hops it is not over the top. It is just a great example of a floral and bitter hoppy bear nothing more nothing less. What keeps it normal and drinkable?

Dec 5, 2008 There is something about Cascade and Columbus that smells terrific. Reminds me a bit of Pliny the Elder. One of my new favorite beers.

Dec 3, 2008 Botella. Deep golden orange colour. Nice hoppy piney and fruity aroma. Good filling mouthfeel. The flavour has a good fruitiness with good bitter hops, pine and a good pleasant mild sweetness. Dry long lasting hoppy fruity finish.

Dec 1, 2008 Pours a dark hazy gold with a thick rocky head. Big citrus pine and grassy aroma. Nice malty body balancing it all out, very nice chewy taste. Bitter citrus grassy pine flavor. Really big flavorful IPA with nice chewy Cascade and Simcoe style hops. Very good.

Dec 1, 2008 On tap. Orange color with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor was dominated by hops from start to finish. Wonderful citrus and floral hops. Barley any malt came through; thus unbalanced.

Nov 28, 2008 Peach juice. Hazy thick orange with a thin white head. Fades into a thick ring along the edges. A very sharp grapefruit and citrus punch with a strong pininess. A very forceful and persistent hop flavor. Pretty spicy and has a strong punch of hops. A tiny bit watery in the end but it helps balance the hops. A very drinkable IPA and one that I really do appreciate for what it is. However the ABV will actually shock you. It creeps up on you.

Nov 27, 2008 (10/13/08) Draught at Map Room in Chicago. Hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma of flowery hops and citrus. Bitter hoppy flavor with nice citric tones. Rounded-mouthfeel. Great and refreshing.
