ahnuldyess (2), houston, Texas, USA does not count Oct 5, 2008 Poured beautiful gold color with a two finger white head. Has somewhat of a citrus finish.Velvety smooth. Strong hop smell. Awesome. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear gold with a two finger white head. Aroma of flowers, citrus and malt. Flavor was oranges with an abrasive bitter finish. Didn’t enjoy the finish at all. Potentially good beer, but a slight oops in the finish. Medium body with good carbonation. JFURYCAT (782), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 3, 2008 My first take on this beer was that there was a bit too much vanilla dough in here but now its grown on me along with the ample bitterness and sweet dry citrus finish. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA Sep 30, 2008 Bomber, bought from Charles Street Liquors in Boston. Pours a light orange-amber with a smallish head. Aroma is intensely floral, with ripe citrus fruit and some malt to boot. Classic quality IPA bouquet. Flavor is equally impressive. I tasted Valencia orange and tangerine primarily, all wrapped together in a smooth and lightly carbonated palate. Towards the finish, the flavor evolves into a more bitter, equally delicious tart hoppy finish. There is also a creamy quality to this beer that I can only compare to biting into a juicy fresh nectarine/plum/strawberry. I would pick this up again in a second. fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Sep 28, 2008 Bottle pours golden with ’floaters’ from bottle conditioning with a off white head. Aroma is a wonderful spicy pine. The floral notes alone makes me excited. Mouthfeel is medium heavy. Flavor is sweet caramel malt upfront. The finish is dominated by a spicy, citrus, tart, hoppy flavor. Overall, I think this is one of the best IPA’s out there. Really hoppy and very drinkable. HonkeyBra (1274), Lemont, Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2008 Color is a pale orange with a creamy head, some lacing. Aroma is citrus hops and some malt. The flavor has a lot of good tasting hops, a bit of malt trying to balance it. Very good IPA, albeit a bit thin. carruthm (1112), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 27, 2008 V - clear pale orange/amber
