Bottle in the Canalhouse, Nottingham. A pale amber ale with a thin white head. Good pineapple and grapefruit flavours. There’s some smooth caramel too. Very nice.

On tap poured into a stemmed pilsner glass. The nose is hit by notes of roasted nutty and malty characters with some berry (blueberry came to mind) and citrus rind. It pours a rich clear amber orange color with a very light white head that leaves very little lace. Very balanced taste between sweet and bitter. Definitely a more mellow bitter than most IPAs I’ve been imbibing recently - almost leans more towards an APA. Very soft carbonation keeps light and thin - maybe a bit oily. The tongue is hit primarily by roasted malts with some pine and citrus rind bittering. It finishes dry and clean. A mild roasted and piney quality sticks around in the aftertaste

I prefer it out of the bottle. For some reason it seems to lose some pizzazz but perhaps I just need to clean my glasses better. It's still an amazing brew.

Poured from a 12oz bottle to a dark golden color with busy carbonation Date on the bottle is 12/17/13. Not sure if that is a bottled date or drink by date. Decent aroma (not used a very good glass to judge this). Very easy drinking IPA. Excellent mouthfeel at both front of the tongue and back of it. I enjoyed this beer very much.

Had this out of a bottle at Disney world at akershus. It was a solid ipa. Moderate aroma with the same description for taste. Just nothing to make it memorable.
