I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

From memory on a recent trip to Northern California. Good balance of citrus and pine. Juicy taste. I had a couple and enjoyed it very much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Mooie Amerikaanse IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light copper, some suspended particulates and haze. Floral citrus, mango, apple, sweet caramel, vanilla aroma. Nicely balanced, light biscuit wafer, citrus, apple, honey in taste, some banana esthers. Refreshing mouthfeel, lightly bittered, juicy and mildy drying.

Taste: Caramel and grapefruit with a resiny/piney bitterness, vanilj and lychee.

Bottle at Örebro Ölcafé. Some faded hops and citrus on the nose. Similar taste with orange peels. Probably too old. Not very fresh.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is tons of hops--citrus, fruit, pine, herbs, floral, with mild bubblegum and a discernible caramel malty backbone. Appearance is cloudy yellowish light brown with greenish tinge, small white head with poor retention, minimal sparkle but nice leggy lacing. Taste is dominant moderately sweet citrus over milder caramel, light bitter at tail end. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with sticky texture, lively carbonation and crisp, dry, citrusy finish. Overall, tons of aroma and flavor, meaty body and yet comes off refreshing and light. A pleasure!

Draught at Babajan. Semi lasting White head. Clowdy solid amber color. Very fresh hoppy taste. Well fermented to give a dry finnish.
