A nice chunky, hazy gold pour with a lovely dense white head. Literally chunks in the brew. Loved that. Bitter and lasting, this had a very piney citrus aroma, and tended to be a little on the sticky side. For an every day taste, this had just the right bitter, but not going to be my exceptional. Pleasant.

Racer 5 has a lovely citrus aroma with an appealing golden amber color and a slight haze. The white head is minimal and the taste is clean and creamy. It has just the right amount of sweetness, paired with a nice medium bitter finish. It’s hard to tell that this beer is 7.5% ABV which is a plus in my book.

Tap @ Albion NYC. Pours a light copper/gold with a small white head. Aroma is full of pine, citrus, grapefruit.. classic pine/fruit IPA mix. Taste is nice and bitter grapefruit, grass, deep malt, great balance.. ends bitter. Med mouthfeel, thick.

This is just as good as it gets. I love this beer. I will drink it any day of the week, at any time. I dont care for the name or the label design at all (what the hell are you trying to compete with, MGD???) , but it is just really good anyway. I love this stuff, its just great!

Bottle into a tulip glass. Pour is a haze orange with a lace head. Aroma is of citrus, pine and grasses with a malt back. Taste is crisp yet over the top bitterness. Finish is crisp. This is a great IPA.

Pours a nice clear golden color with white head. Pine, citrus, and some light fruit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied, finishes pretty clean.

On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. Can’t believe I’ve not yet rated this... Pours bright orange copper with thin white head that fades quickly. Aroma is light caramel malt that is dominated by big fresh dank hops, notes of earthy pine stand out. Taste is similar: malt is sweeter and darker than the nose; and the hops, while plenty bitter, meld better with the malt here. Well balanced - big flavors work well with the bigger 7+% abv. One of the better IPAs out there.

Cerveja de cor laranja dourada, creme branco de fácil formação, média carbonatação. Aroma intenso de frutas cítricas, pinho e gramíneas. Paladar com notas adocicadas do malte e amargor moderado a intenso, lembrando grapefruit, resinoso. Bom amargor residual. Final seco. Excelente American IPA.

Clear pour, yellow-orange. Sticky legs on the glass. A balanced and diverse IPA. It begins with hops, cascade and with some carbonation. Tapers off into its earthy characteristics like wheat, grass and floral. The finish is lemon zest and slightly bitter. Very good...on par with GL Commodore Perry IPA.
