dand645 (64), Bayonne, New Jersey, USA Sep 24, 2009 golden pour, with copious amounts of fluffy white head...great amounts of hop in the nose...wonderful balance, good amount of bitter...lingering finish yobdoog (1426), Woodridge NY, New York, USA Sep 22, 2009 Overall very nicely balanced with some solid very flavorful hops. Pine, citrus and caramel malts with a nice body to back the hops juice. A lingering citrus grapefruit hop bitterness. Nice. gyllenbock (238), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 22, 2009 Bottle at SBWF. A very nice IPA, a lot of tropical fruit and citrus. Compared with Hopsickle this was more balanced, thanks to the malt.
Clearly a nice IPA that was easy to drink. I especially liked the dry and pleasant bitter end. screigh (253), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 22, 2009 Pours a nice looking crystal copper color. No head at all. Aroma is unusually sweet with a hint of grain. Taste is very nice and balanced. Wait around and the bitterness appears. This is a real easy drinking IPA. finol (475), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden Sep 21, 2009 Bottle at Monks Cafe @ SBWF.
Fruity and citrusy niceness. Balanced and drinkable IPA hirigalzkar (550), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2009 Bottle. Good IPA! Serious tropical hoppiness balanced with a good ammount of malt. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 21, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy softly carbonated light orange brown colored body. The mild aroma was cascade hoppy and floral. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and strong hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. RSRIZZO (1345), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Sep 20, 2009 From a 22oz bottle poured into a shaker at 48°. Color is a pale gold with a slight haze. Carbonation is good with a nice tight white head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with a sweet citrus coming out. Taste is smooth and citric. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a creamy feel. Finish comes out sweet with a mild malt feel then the citrus rolls in with orange and lemon rind, then a bold bitterness. After taste is dry with an almost sticky bitterness lingering on leaving a pine like taste. This is a very good IPA, it has a nice citrus flavors that don’t just overpower you with grapefruit the way far too many out there do.
