Rciesla (3513), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA May 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours amber orange gold with a foam white head. A great citrus, pine, sweet malt aroma. Flavor is that with a nice lemon grapefruit bite. Great! goldmember (8), Great Falls, Montana, USA does not count May 21, 2008 Pours an orange hue with nice frothy white head. Smells of piney hops and citrus. Slides across the palate and leaves a distinct hoppy bitterness. One of the better IPA’s I have tried. cazort (413), Newark, Delaware, USA May 19, 2008 (On tap) My initial impression of this beer was very favorable: it has a rich aroma, fruity, and somewhat complex. However, the malt character leaves a lot to be desired. It is too heavy and a bit too sweet (although it is also moderately bitter at the same time). I was drinking this on a hot day and it was not quite as refreshing as it could have been. verymerrymonk (255), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 17, 2008 Pours a clear golden body - splotchy white head. Piney, grassy hops and little else. Long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Quite enjoyable. Dubbercody (214), Vancouver, Washington, USA May 16, 2008 12 oz bottle. Very nice hop aroma. Gives you the hello, you’re about the hang with some hops chat.
Nice flavor, hoppy, but not obnoxiously over the top. Pleasantly hoppy that goes nicely with the malt. Good lasting aftertaste. NaturalIce (115), originally from Michigan, New York, USA May 16, 2008 22oz bottle - This beer is amazing. Pours out a hazy amber with thick white head. The taste begins with intense bitterness followed by a very pleasant aftertaste that seems to last forever. leninthedesert (112), Nevada, USA May 16, 2008 I love IPA’s!!! This was the style that opened my eyes with regard to "better beers." The aroma of the hops melts right into the maltiness of the beer’s sub-structure. Perfumey and wonderful...hoppy but not obscene...what a great beer! T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA May 15, 2008 Appeared a hazy, golden color on tap. Definately had a hoppy smell of pine and citrus. Taste was of piney hops and citrus hops, but also thought it had a sweet malt backbone to it which blended well with the strong hops (as expected).
