BuckeyeSammy (454), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 14, 2008 Golden, white head, average lacing. Floral hop, pine nose. Dry hops, bitter palate lingers. Pine, citrus, grapefruit. KnN (715), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA May 14, 2008 Pours a nice orange color wiht a white head. Smell is very cirtusy with a little pine thrown in. I would agree with the other raters who mentioned grapefruit. There is a definite citrus flavor as well with some nice bitterness. What’s really great is that it doesn’t linger. It’s there, let’s you know it’s there, but then leaves quickly. Not a "clingy" beer. Nice IPA. BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA May 13, 2008 Sampled on tap @ Yardhouse but can access in bottle as well. Nice burnt orange body with 1/4 inch off-white head. The aroma is citrus forward with the usual evergreen presence. Flavor is balanced...and doesn’t make you pucker. Grapefruit, tangerine, and pine in harmony. A very good example of the style but not memorable enough to break 4. incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA May 12, 2008 Another really tasty IPA. Lots of grapefruity bitterness up front. Some good piney aroma with the fruit. Good balance, and a really easy drinking IPA. Nice to get a bomber in Hudson every so often. minch25 (350), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 9, 2008 Orangey amber body. Floral hop character, tasty, bitter. Not too sweet sticky or stiff bodied. Really solid IPA. GAManiac (1124), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 9, 2008 Pours deep golden with a one finger head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a decent swirl of bubbles on top. Minimal lacing. Smell is mostly fruit hops - grapefruit, orange, and lemon zest. Mild bready malt smell balances it out a little, though it’s mostly a light fruit hop smell. Initial taste of grapefruit, lemon and general fruity hops followed by the malty sweetness. The finish actually has a bit of resiny hops but is fairly crisp for an IPA. Fairly light mouthfeel with a decent carbonation. Drinkability is actually pretty high on this and I could drink this one most of the night. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA May 9, 2008 ABV: 7%

First Impression: Aroma is quite hoppy, floral, grapefruit, olive oil, herbal, welcoming. Visuals include a fluffy white head on a surprisingly deep amber hazy body. Lacing is very nice. Taste is rich and bitter with grapefruit, with a satisfying long acrid aftertaste. Palate is crisp, dusty, and top and back of the tongue is active. Second Impression: a very well crafted beer. Interesting visually, and in aroma. Tastes very good - not the best IPA out there, but very high on the list for me. Well worth another taste.

Overall: 18 out of 20. I liked the aroma, taste, palate, and visuals. fredandboboflo (1395), East Setauket, New York, USA May 9, 2008 Bottle. Aroma foreward with citrus hops, maybe some pine/other plant life there too. Flavor is like a super twangy grapefruit/orange beer beverage concoction. Lots of hop resin, just the right amount of semi-sweet malt. For me, a perfect balance between a dry IPA and a sweet DIPA. Great stuff from a brewer that never disappoints.
