Clear medium to dark orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus,spruce - pine,wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110517]

A hazy orange beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of grass, hops, and acid from the hops, while the mouthfeel is sticky.

From tap at Pizza Port, Solana Beach. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Smooth peachy ad grapefruity aroma, very inviting. Flavour is smooth caramel malt slight sweet and with a lovely fruity hops flavour on top yet also nicely balanced. Ends medium dry and fruity. Nice.

(On tap) Clear, fully golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Extremely fat hop aroma with lots of astringent grapefruit and pine. Medium body with a lightly sweet maltbase and then an incredible, fruity bitterness. 230307

Bottled (thanks Degarth!). Hazy orange colour, huge white foamy head. Aroma is really fruity hoppy along with some hints of yeast. Flavour is quite the same, but has some really big grassyness in it. Aroma is slightly better than the aroma. Still a good one!

Cloudy amber coloured with a medium sized white head.
Fruity aroma of caramel, hops, pine needles and alcohol.
Fruity flavour of caramel, hops, pine needles and alcohol with notes of grape fruits.
Dry hoppy finish.

Bottled, thanks marbles! Amber colour, small head. Rich grapefruit hop aroma. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Very hoppy and grapefruity, but with more malt depth than is normal in American beers. Lingering really bitter finish.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy pine needles aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty bitter hoppy piney citrus grassy flavor. Has a malty bitter hoppy piney finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

Bottle, 7%. Weak teaish aroma. Muddy dark orange colour, small floaties. Very small white head. Mild rye bread flavour, a bit of tea. Slightly high bitterness, clean enough.

Bottle @ J.C.G. Pours unclear orange with a small creamy bubbly white head and lacings. Nose is tropical fruity hops. Pine, orange and grapefruit. Crisp and dry flavor with a small amount of malts. Clean and tasty Ipa.
