Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 6, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of grass, hops, and acid from the hops, while the mouthfeel is sticky. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 3, 2007 (On tap) Clear, fully golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Extremely fat hop aroma with lots of astringent grapefruit and pine. Medium body with a lightly sweet maltbase and then an incredible, fruity bitterness. 230307 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 3, 2004 Bottled, thanks marbles! Amber colour, small head. Rich grapefruit hop aroma. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Very hoppy and grapefruity, but with more malt depth than is normal in American beers. Lingering really bitter finish. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at Pizza Port, Solana Beach. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Smooth peachy ad grapefruity aroma, very inviting. Flavour is smooth caramel malt slight sweet and with a lovely fruity hops flavour on top yet also nicely balanced. Ends medium dry and fruity. Nice. oh6gdx (8801), Vasa, Finland Nov 5, 2007 Bottled (thanks Degarth!). Hazy orange colour, huge white foamy head. Aroma is really fruity hoppy along with some hints of yeast. Flavour is quite the same, but has some really big grassyness in it. Aroma is slightly better than the aroma. Still a good one! joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 20, 2009 Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whisky 2009.

picking up a lot more bitterness in the flavor, crystal sweetness is still in the background, hop flavor has subsided, freshness matters

fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Apr 14, 2006 @Freakin’ Frog, Las Vegas Hazy amber color; creamy head, nice lace. Nice fruity aroma (apricots). Malty taste, medium strength, with a good fruity aromatic hopping. One American IPA like many others, that is: I like it.
