Draft. Poured gold with a white, foamy head and great lacing on the glass. Citrus and lemongrass aromas that carried through to the taste. Good hop profile and a nice, classic bitterness on the finish.

Kerek képet alkot az ital, kiugrásoktól mentes jellemvonásokkal bír, túlzások nélküli vonalakkal rendelkezik. Illatai kissé élesek, célirányosan komló felhangúak, bár az utózönge egy kellemesen kerekded jelleget is hordoz, telt malátás alapok jelenlétét sugallja. A későbbiek során valóban egyre intenzívebbé válik, a trópusi jelleg és a mandula képe is kirajzolódik, a kereteket maximálisan ki is tölti az aromahalmaz. A várakozásoknak megfelelő ízélmény éppen megfelelő testességet, mérsékelt, de kiegyensúlyozottan édeskés szerkezetet nyújt, melyben markánsan kesernyés komlójegyek pikáns játéka, vibráló komponensek jelenléte és némi malátás krémesség támogatása egyaránt megfigyelhető. Az utóíze mérsékelten, elegáns módon száraz, finomra hangoltsága az utolsókig megmarad.

12 oz bottle shared by ebone1988 for this motherfucking book. God damnit. The pour is a dark orangey gold, almost bordering on brownish gold, with a thin film and thicker collar of off white head and a free spots of good lace. The aroma is very disappointing. There is a ton of malt that I’m not okay with. The west coast hops don’t really do a whole lot, either. There is a light juiciness that pretty makes this one worth checking out. The flavor is a fucking malt bomb. There is a wet hop leafiness that is really out of place and totally disastrous. It’s a mess. The bitterness controls the flavor and the hops just offer light bits to keep it from being like a barley wine. The mouth feel is way too thick and heavy with a soft carbonation. This is just not that good at all. The aftertaste is all lingeringly malty and sweet. Ugh.

Bottle shared with koleminer20, for the book. Aroma is citrus, pine, tropical fruit, malt, bready, eh. Appearance is amber golden, off white head, very hazy. Taste is malt bomb, pine, floral, for being fresh this is not good. Mouthfeel is medium body, light carbonation, bitter malt aftertaste. Overall, this one is highly rated for what reason? This is fresh. I know because it just came to Michigan. This is bad.

Pours clear light orange from bottle, fine white head, good lacing. Strong nose of grapefruit, citrus zest, hints of apricot and mango. Tastes of more citrus, mild dankness, very hoppy and dry. Fine carbonation and reasonably refreshing palate despite strong flavors and ABV. A great, inexpensive, and widely available (in CA) West Coast IPA.

Bottle (from Beergium), best by 07.28.2016. Pours golden-amber with whiteish head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, mango, citrus, caramel, pine. Flavor is sweet and bitter, honey, caramel, pine, grapefruit. Finish is pine bitter with some alcohol notes. Overal: good, finish is a bit harsh.

Bomber pour to cup. One of my favorite widely available IPAs. Pine, grapefruit. Golden orange, very active tiny bubbles, rich white foam head. Grapefruit pith, sap, nectar, bubbles attack your tongue with a bitterness. The malt blends in just right. Bitter rind finish.
