Mrthirstyneck (339), Minnesota, USA Jun 16, 2008 Drank this a while back. Recall it being a very good ipa. Strong bitter grapefruit thats a huge plus for me. tons of hops hops hops. Balanced enough to drink very smooth though. GREAT BEER!
mgermani (621), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Oct 10, 2008 Pours a clear orange with a thin head with great retention and LOTS of lace. Sweet & hoppy, slightly medicinal nose. Taste... oh boy. This one’s a treat. Loads of malt and a recessed bitterness set the stage perfectly for a beautiful fresh and earthy hop finish. Oily mouthfeel, great carbonation, dangerously quaffable. Packs a nearly Imperial punch in terms of taste, and only clocks in at 7% ABV. Very nice! pantanap (784), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 9, 2008 draft at maproom.... semi-transparent orange amber brown pour with a thin but lasting frothy white head.... aroma lended itself to bitter citrus and pine notes ...assertive bitter pine and citris hop flavors with an apparent bitterness in the finish. quite nice and bold flavors to this ipa. beergod! (44), Houston, Texas, USA Oct 6, 2008 Wow! Great IPA! Pours a copper color with a nice head. The nose is in your face, nice citrus, floral, fresh grass. Full flavor of tangerines, grapefruit, navel orange peel with a nice dry finish. Nice carbonation. pair with a spicy dish or a mustard driven sammich!
