Bottle, poured a clear pale amber with a thick white head. Strong hop aromas, lots of grapefruit and floral notes. Flavors are quite similar. It is fairly obvious (along with the description) that copious amounts of Cascades and C-bus hops were used. Not much of a malt base, this is a hoppal assualt, and a quite good one. Finish is quite dry and nicely bitter.

Oct 10, 2008 Pours a clear orange with a thin head with great retention and LOTS of lace. Sweet & hoppy, slightly medicinal nose. Taste... oh boy. This one’s a treat. Loads of malt and a recessed bitterness set the stage perfectly for a beautiful fresh and earthy hop finish. Oily mouthfeel, great carbonation, dangerously quaffable. Packs a nearly Imperial punch in terms of taste, and only clocks in at 7% ABV. Very nice!

Oct 9, 2008 draft at maproom.... semi-transparent orange amber brown pour with a thin but lasting frothy white head.... aroma lended itself to bitter citrus and pine notes ...assertive bitter pine and citris hop flavors with an apparent bitterness in the finish. quite nice and bold flavors to this ipa.

Oct 6, 2008 Wow! Great IPA! Pours a copper color with a nice head. The nose is in your face, nice citrus, floral, fresh grass. Full flavor of tangerines, grapefruit, navel orange peel with a nice dry finish. Nice carbonation. pair with a spicy dish or a mustard driven sammich!

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle at Volo, Toronto. Pours a hazy golden orange with a sizable head. Aroma is full of grapefruit, peach, apricot and pine. The flavour is undeniably dominated by apricot with some citrus, grapefruit, pine. Nice, medium bodied mouthfeel. Slightly bitter finish.
