Light copper in color with a thin creamy white crown which leaves a lovely lace Light pineapple, hoppy smell. Sweet hoppy flavor that fades into a hoppy spicyness. Nice fresh fruityness with a sticky, tart aftertaste. Smooth, creamy and chewy on the tongue.
After Hop Rod Ryes and Stone Ruinations, these mere mortal IPAs seem like watered down versions. They are great beers, don’t get me wrong, but I think the uber-ipa’s should have a seperate catagory.

Dec 3, 2008 Botella. Deep golden orange colour. Nice hoppy piney and fruity aroma. Good filling mouthfeel. The flavour has a good fruitiness with good bitter hops, pine and a good pleasant mild sweetness. Dry long lasting hoppy fruity finish.

Dec 1, 2008 Pours a dark hazy gold with a thick rocky head. Big citrus pine and grassy aroma. Nice malty body balancing it all out, very nice chewy taste. Bitter citrus grassy pine flavor. Really big flavorful IPA with nice chewy Cascade and Simcoe style hops. Very good.

Dec 1, 2008 On tap. Orange color with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor was dominated by hops from start to finish. Wonderful citrus and floral hops. Barley any malt came through; thus unbalanced.

Nov 28, 2008 Peach juice. Hazy thick orange with a thin white head. Fades into a thick ring along the edges. A very sharp grapefruit and citrus punch with a strong pininess. A very forceful and persistent hop flavor. Pretty spicy and has a strong punch of hops. A tiny bit watery in the end but it helps balance the hops. A very drinkable IPA and one that I really do appreciate for what it is. However the ABV will actually shock you. It creeps up on you.

Nov 27, 2008 (10/13/08) Draught at Map Room in Chicago. Hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma of flowery hops and citrus. Bitter hoppy flavor with nice citric tones. Rounded-mouthfeel. Great and refreshing.
