Pours deep golden with a one finger head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a decent swirl of bubbles on top. Minimal lacing. Smell is mostly fruit hops - grapefruit, orange, and lemon zest. Mild bready malt smell balances it out a little, though it’s mostly a light fruit hop smell. Initial taste of grapefruit, lemon and general fruity hops followed by the malty sweetness. The finish actually has a bit of resiny hops but is fairly crisp for an IPA. Fairly light mouthfeel with a decent carbonation. Drinkability is actually pretty high on this and I could drink this one most of the night.

Oct 11, 2008 strong scent of floral hops. nice color. translucent amber with little head. taste is of strong hops and some citrus. bitter hops finish with tones of grapefruit as well. excellent beer. I will purchase again.

Oct 10, 2008 Pours a clear orange with a thin head with great retention and LOTS of lace. Sweet & hoppy, slightly medicinal nose. Taste... oh boy. This one’s a treat. Loads of malt and a recessed bitterness set the stage perfectly for a beautiful fresh and earthy hop finish. Oily mouthfeel, great carbonation, dangerously quaffable. Packs a nearly Imperial punch in terms of taste, and only clocks in at 7% ABV. Very nice!

Oct 9, 2008 draft at maproom.... semi-transparent orange amber brown pour with a thin but lasting frothy white head.... aroma lended itself to bitter citrus and pine notes ...assertive bitter pine and citris hop flavors with an apparent bitterness in the finish. quite nice and bold flavors to this ipa.

Oct 6, 2008 Wow! Great IPA! Pours a copper color with a nice head. The nose is in your face, nice citrus, floral, fresh grass. Full flavor of tangerines, grapefruit, navel orange peel with a nice dry finish. Nice carbonation. pair with a spicy dish or a mustard driven sammich!
