From 22 oz bottle at the Montreal YeHa! 2005. Hazy, cloudy orange-amber with a bit of head...big, loud citrusy nose with tons of bitter orange, grapefruit and a touch of sharp aromatic wood-resin...flavor somewhat lactic, bitterness subdued, somewhat sugary and syrupy, seems perhaps just a touch too old though I think the bottle was recently bought? Who knows...not bad, but underwhelming.

Bottle at American Tap Room. Pours orange with a thin white head. Some citrus notes on the notes. Floral spice on the tongue with some pretty big hop bitterness on the finish. Nice balance for the most part. Score would probably be a little higher had it not been served in a refridgerated pint glass.

Pours a dark yellow/golden color - minimal head. Lots of carbonation. Very hoppy aroma. Medium bitterness, with bitter aftertaste. Slightly sour. Medium body.

A fantastic IPA. Cloudy orange/copper pour with a thick white head. Hop aroma shines with a bit of sweetness in there. Flavor is grapefruit, toasted malts, and kind of a woody taste. Very drinkable!! Excellent balance in this beer, will continue to purchase this one.

Misty golden pour, thin bubbly head. A bit dry on the palate but very pleasant. Great to enjoy in summer. Overall, a hop-forward but balanced IPA. Not overpowering, not overly bitter.

Appearance was clear copper gold with a creamy diminishing whiteish 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas where slight sweet pale malt with mild burst of citrus fruits of grapefruits, oranges, and lemons. Yeasts where slightly there and no hints of alcohol. Taste was sweet backbone of malt then the piney herbal spice of the hops blend well with the malts. Lighter smoother body with creamy carbonation, average length tarty hoppy finish. An easy IPA to drink, lighter...

22oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Birlington, MA. Amber with a ring of white head; piney, citrus aroma; soft and spritzy in the mouth with some citrus to start, then the more resinous hops kick in, without being overpowering. This is a fairly well-balanced IPA.

Pine and very light citrus notes. On sale growler at the Piggly on Folly rd. always a go to IPA for me. Heavily hopped but it does have some balance.

In the bottle from Safeway in University Place, WA: A clear honey pour provides a hoppy, chewy beer, with hints of onion, resin, and grass. A fine pour with a clean taste. A reliable favorite.
