Pours orange/copper with a 2 finger white head. Big citrus/resin hop aroma. Nicely balanced. Very drinkable. Well done norcal DIPA.

On tap @ Tap 25 during SF Beer Week. Clear, orange, off white head. Good aroma and taste with citrus, pine, resin - very good taste and what you’d expect from a NoCal DIPA. Nothing at all wrong with it, just nothing special/different from other CA DIPAs that really stands out. Would be very happy to buy this on a regular basis as a stronger version on the great Racer 5 IPA.

Light amber color. Massive notes of Crystal Malts and pine. The pine is very distinctive. Hidden below is some tropical fruit notes. Superbly balanced, with a touch of caramel notes under the crystal malts and pine. Very drinkable, alcohol well hidden superbly executed.

Pours copper, transparent with a small white head. Nose is big grapefruit, pine, leather and caramel. Taste is perfect balanced sweet and bitter. The mouthfeel is crisp and sticky, heavy body and a huge finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber purchased at the Escondido BevMo ($7.99). Pours a sunset orange hue with one finger of hazy eggshell-colored foam. Aroma of salty ocean air, citric hops, herbal hops, fresh-cut flowers, wet pine forest, and a bit of caramel. Flavor has lots of fruit with notes of citric zest, peach, and mango along with some caramel and honey sweetness. A very smooth DIPA with well-concealed alcohol. It retains a decent amount of bitterness but the just-right sweetness level really carries this. It reminds me of Hopslam, at least in flavor (which is a very good thing). (453, 770)

Tasty chewy citrusy dipa with that sweet malty backbone which has some biscuit and caramel which accentuate the hop blast. I love the perfumey aroma. Solid brew.

Draft. Aroma is of piney hops. The appearance is a dark copper with a good light head. The taste starts sweet then rolls into a piny hoppiness. Not too much, though. The palate is good for this strong of an ipa. Overall, a really good ipa. Would buy whenever i could. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours gold with a white head. Smells a bit flowery, lots of hops, but balanced. Tastes so crisp, sweet on the back of the tongue with grassy and piney resiny hops. So fresh and clean.

Bottle at thirdeye11’s birthday party. The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma has some floral notes to it, as well as some orange citrus and pine. The flavor is very fruity. I get a lot of pineapple, apricot and mango, as well as some biscuit malt. The bitterness is about medium. A very nice double IPA.
