Draft at Rustico Alexandria. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a large white head. Aroma is plenty of pine resin, some citrus. Flavor was citrus, pine resin, some nice balanced malts. Pretty enjoyable. Alcohol relatively well masked.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to glass. Pours a deep golden light amber color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is wonderful, but a bit faint. Hints of fleshy fruit, tropical fruit hops with a mild caramel malt. Hop flavors a bit more present in the taste with lots of fleshy fruit hoppy bittersweetness and a mild alcohol burn. Hop character lingers well into the finish with a continued alcohol burn. Excellent beer, but still prefer the Racer 15.

Bottle. Good balance between caramel malt and tropical hops. Big rich palate. Prototypical DIPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours amber color with a small foamy head that fades to a ring. Aroma is pretty musty with lots of fresh citrus hops with hints of pine and caramel too. Taste has a light sweetness and very strong bitterness. Bitter, chewy citrus hops throughout. Spicy finish with a slight alcohol burn. Decent DIPA, seems overrated on here.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet hops and a bit of citrus aroma. Perfect amber color with a frothy off white head. Mmmmm. A lot like Racer 5 with a bit more alcohol kick to it. Sweet, malty and balanced. Awesome. Gonna get me going.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy copper in color... Aroma of piney hops, caramel malts... Flavor is initially malt forward, caramel and toffee, resiny mouthfeel, which gives way to lingering pine hop bitterness... solid DIPA, although nothing remarkable
