COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebellion was created by Bear Republic’s brewers as a single hop pale ale to showcase the characteristics of new hop varietals and old favorites. Always brewed with the same American and English malts, the soft malt character allows the unique flavor and aroma of the hop to shine.

Got this on draft at THE LOCAL Beer Bar in Eureka, CA. Color is orange amber. Nose is strongly citrus with notes of grapefruit and pine. Interesting that a single hops brings both aromas. Medium in body. Slick mouthfeel. The flavor is bitter and citrus, and the finish is very dry and seriously bitter,. This is highly drinkable for a single hop.

At the pub in Healdsburg. Golden orange with medium off white head. Nose was all citrus. Taste was hop forward. Overall a solid brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Rattle. Pours a clear amber body with nice lacing, no head. Aroma is harsh, bitter hops, grapefruit, lemon and pine. Mouthfeel is medium and extremely dry with notes of astringent bitter hops (nearly verges on peppery).
