Pale golden beer with a bit of orange tint. The nose is loaded with bright citrus, lemon and a soft herbal/grassy aroma. Soft malts with a crisp bitterness. Lots of fresh grassy/citrus hop flavour. Lean bodied and spicy with a soft pale malt base. It’s chewy and hoppy and tasty. Really damn good.

A: The pour is a slightly hazed golden color with a big white head that clings to the glass.
S: Excellent citrus aromas along with a nice resinous pine note to it. A fair amount of bready malts for a Bear Republic IPA.
T: The citrus is not quite as potent as the nose leads you to believe. However, the oily pine and bitterness is strong and provides the bulk of the hop character. There is still a very noticeable toasted malt flavor.
M: Medium in both body and carbonation. Pretty much as you would expect.
D: Not my favorite from Bear Republic, but fairly easy to drink and nothing really wrong with it.

JW77 hooks it up! Pours a nice cloudy golden color. Nice white head. Tons of citrus, pineapple and tropical fruits on the nose. Flavor is hoppy and smooth as hell. I love the citrus and the pineapple finish. Good stuff.

A golden IPA with a thick off white head. An aroma of chunky meaty malts, with critussy hops, light menthol notes, very nice. In mouth, a rather chunky oily malt with smooth citrussy hops, light meatyness, papaya, quite nice and smooth. On tap at J. Ryans, May 2, 2010.

Draft, pours a golden body with a white head. Really fantastic aroma citrus, grassy, pine and light grapefruit hints. Citrus and a light resinous tone. Finishes not quite as good of the aroma with some of citrus drying out quickly. Still very good.

Tap at BT. Pours a light hazed copper - fairly bright and a nice lingering white sticky head. Aroma is intense citra hops- tons of spicy and tropical fruitiness, mango is dominant, orange juice and citrus oils, grapefruit rind and some light pine resin. Flavor is also mango, tropical, light dank weed and earth and white cedar pepperyness, flowery citrus, and good resin in the finish. Really nice use of citra all around. Nice stuff.

Fresh 1L growler. Man this is really the hop of the moment. I’m seeing it everywhere suddenly. It’s got a great name, no doubt, but is quite tasty as well. Citrusy indeed, a lot of lemon, sage, grapefruit. Mild body, spritzy, very dry. Pine and ash in the finish, with a lingering bitterness. Great hop.
