COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebellion was created by Bear Republic’s brewers as a single hop pale ale to showcase the characteristics of new hop varietals and old favorites. Always brewed with the same American and English malts, the soft malt character allows the unique flavor and aroma of the hop to shine.

2012-12-07. Dark amber body, small creamy beige head and lace. 3+ Modest aroma, light green hops, mineral quality to it, light fruit. 6+ Flavour is similar, light bittters and mild green hop character, muted fruit and something I can not quite place. 6+ Average palate. Okay, but I didn’t particularly care for it. On tap at Coles, Buffalo

Pale golden pour. The nose is nicely earthy and slightly floral. A woody sort of bitterness and some light minty sort of flavour. Nice enough.

On tap at brewery. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Pine and grapefruit aroma with a grassy straw and bready taste with a citrus finish and a bright lively palate.

Sampler at the brewpub. Light amber color. Aroma is caramel malt and light spicy hops. Flavor starts with a very mild malt base and transitions into the hop notes. This hop doesn’t seem to have a lot of flavor, just a clean, crisp bitterness.
