COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rebellion was created by Bear Republic’s brewers as a single hop pale ale to showcase the characteristics of new hop varietals and old favorites. Always brewed with the same American and English malts, the soft malt character allows the unique flavor and aroma of the hop to shine.

3fourths (8228) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 27, 2009
Draft @ Falling Rock. All-Centennial version, called a "strong pale ale". Strange nose of caramel, vienna, munich malt - nuts, caramel, sweet plum, that sort of thing. Hop character is like fruit cocktail/bubble gum/maraschino cherries, bit overblown by the crystal malt character. Moderately bitter, somewhat astringent and sharp, even filmy at times. Interesting beer but nothing great.
