On tap into a snifter at the Jackie Oís barrel aged event...Pours an clear and ugly brown, almost like whiskey with a little red dye in it...The aroma is wood, musk, and right away you can pull out the cabernet grapes used, its nice but too pronouned, other than them its a pretty blah aroma...The taste is ok nothing special at all, a grape tart flavor with wood, just pretty boring, tough to drink the 4ozs even split amoung a group.

Deep amber pour. Nose is lactic and a little bit earthy. A nice soft earthiness. A little bit peppery. A touch of light astringency and some nice peppery character. A touch of light funkiness. Lactic with a little bit of light cherry. Itís quite similar to the BA Grizz.

On tap at Super Sour Sunday at Triple Rock. Pours a reddish brown with a small off-white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light funk, caramel, lemon, yeast, and some oak. Initial taste is a lemon and vinegar tartness going into some oak. More vinegar on the finish. Medium carbonation. Medium body.

Cloudy honey-caramel color with a thin head. Very nice and complex aroma of honey, flowers, peaches and grapefruit. Flavor is nice and tart, with a hint of sweetness. Silky mouthfeel, burbs tad sticky.

Draft @ BGH, sour bear republic event. Brown pour with tan head. Sweet nutty, cherry, fruit and brett funked aroma. Flavor is slightly acetic, woody sour, and fruit, bit of warming on the finish.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Tart/sour aroma with light oak. Acetic/sour flavor with malt and oak. Medium bodied. Oak lingers with acetic/sour notes and malt.

Draft. Bruin with an amber toned body with a scant white head. Fresh fruit tones, berries, watermelon, light floral fruit tones. Wild tart citrus and berries, leather brett. A Mild acidity. Thin, strong acidity, chemicals and solvents. As bad as BR gets.

Tasted at the 5th Annual Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest on 11/13/2010. This sour ale pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, tart and funky. A medium bodied sour ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Nice carbonation. Lots of tartness, lots of sweetness, balanced very nicely. Not so much an IPA anymore the hops flavors are muted and in the background. Nice sour beer though. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is tart.

5th Annual Bistro BA Festival. Very earthy. Dry with a woody bitterness. Sour/vinegar aroma - fairly acetic. Not much hops left besides a pleasant lemony quality. Good mild caramel. Dark amber, transparent, with a small white head.

On tap at the Bistro BA festival. Pours slightly ruddy copper/beige head. Light sour aroma. Med body. Nice sour flavor - very like grapefruit sour. Excellent.
