On tap at Beer Authority. Pours a cloudy yellow with minimal white head. Lactic nose with wheat and cheese. Heavy lactic flavor with cheese, lemon rind, and honey sweetness. Strong acidity. Really good!

On tap at blind tiger. This is a perfect BW--only one I've tried that I like more than 1809. Tart, refreshing, eminently drinkable. Wish this was more common. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Stag’s Head. Pours a hazed gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Soft cheesy funk on the nose, sweet and toasty, light toasted wheat, hints of lemon. Medium bodied, lactic acid right away, into a bit of cheesy funkiness. Bright acid, tart and tangy, lemon and tangy acid. Bright and tart, big acid and toast. Long tangy acid, bright and lively. Heavier on the acid than may be true to the style, but I’m certainly not complaining. Nice wheat over the acid on the finish. Very nice, easy drinking, quite delicious. Wasn’t expecting this out of Bear Republic (only because I think of them as a place making solid hoppy beers), very well done.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a spare white head. Aroma of lemon, ginger, pepper, and fish. Flavor of lemon, soap, dill, salt, lactic, and wheat.

(Draught) cloudy wheat colored with a ring of fine white bubbles. Nose of lacto, lemon, wheat, spices, herbs, smells excellent. Taste of straight puckering lemon juice, seltzer, wheaty finish, very tart, not berliner-like but I really liked it.

On draft at Toronado. This was certainly a treat. It pours a very pale, cloudy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is a complex blend of tart lemon, vanilla and wheat. The flavor is over-the-top sour with tons of lemon and a wheaty aftertaste. This one really thrashes the palate with the intense sour pucker... but in a good way. No off flavors, but you really have to like sour things to appreciate this beer. The body is light, but supports the flavors well.

Draft at Elliott Bay Pizza. Not at all what I was expecting from these guys. Pours a crystal clear medium gold with a towering, sudsy platinum blond head. Tart and tangy nose showing lemon, pickles, sauerkraut. Creamy medium body with very lively carb. Tangy lemon and dill pickle mid palate with a mild caramel sweetness in the background. Forceful, dimensional, and refreshing. Probably the most forward berliner weisse in quite a while. Great stuff.

Tap. Pours cloudy pale yellow, looks a lot like a glass of lemon juice. My pour had almost no head at all and no lacing. Aroma is tart lemon and wheat, with some fruitiness (white grape?). Taste is quite tart lemon and wheat with some fruitiness. Finish is sour. Very little carbonation, but otherwise milkly textured. Very nice.

Really insanely dry and tart. Need to have another for specific notes, but definitely a highly recommended beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampler at the brewpub. Very light wheat color and sour aroma. Flavor is light citrus with a wonderfully sour note. This was quite good!
