Cloudy light yellow pour. Rich sour peach nose. Intense lactic flavor, long chalky sour finish, exceptionally full body and flavor for 4%. Absolutely delicious.

Tap. Clear pale yellow with a thin white head that does not last. Aroma of grain, tart fruit, and yeast. Flavor is tart with some grains and yeast and a subtle buttery finish.

Draft. Medium white head atop hazy straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, tart lemon, lactobacillus, light lemon syrup. Taste is medium sweet, lemon drop sour, lactobacillus, light funk. Light-medium body that nevertheless leaves a coating on the tongue, light acidity.

On tap at Bear Republic. Hazy golden color with no head at all. Very tart and acidic. It's pretty much the only thing you can taste. It was described as the lemonade of beers and I have to say that is a fairly accurate description. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at TAPS in Petaluma. Pours an opaque straw color, like white grape flesh, with a small white head. Aroma has sour fruit, apple cider, chardonnay, sour grape juice. Flavor is probably the sourest I’ve had in a Berliner. Heavy lactic acid, lime juice, vinous and sharp like eating white wine grapes off the vine way too early. Finish lets up on the sour, leaving a pleasant, faint graininess with tiny touches of honey and banana. Great stuff!

Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, lactic actid, citrus and tart. Taste is light sweet and heavy sour with a very dry and lactid acid finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

On tap at city beer. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sour grapes, lemon , malt and wheat. Flavor is tart and somewhat funky with as lot of citric acid and wheat. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

On tap at City Beer. It’s a hazy, yellow beer with a minimal sized white head. Sourish, tart aroma with berry hints. Some wheat hints. Very tart on the palate, with some funky notes. Lemon juice and a faint malty going. Palate cleansing, dry and with a soft carbonation. Long lemon finish. Nice indeed, but I find it too tart for Berliner Weisse. 130805

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2013 Hazy yellow in color... Aroma is acidic, tart citrus, vinegar... Flavor instantly makes you pucker, notes of citrus, intensely tart with a hint of butter on the palate... Notes of pickle throughout ... Nice ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
