Tap at rrbf. Pours hazy straw golden with a small fizzy white head. Nose is strongly acetic and lactic with notes of vinegar, peach, citrus, and pear. Flavor shows some oak/wood upfront, with more funky barrel, light dry white wine, olives, and a dry, sour and puckering finish. Awesome stuff but a bit over the top to session on! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Chuck’s Hop Shop - great find! Pours a nice golden yellow, frothy white foam atop and much higher clarity than I had anticipated. Nose is lacto, grain, hints of soil and hay, a bit of lemon and green grape skins. Flavor packs a punch! Nice and sour with lemon and citrisy acidity. Nice and refreshing with crispy carbonation and a thin body - off dry finish that quickly makes me salivate. This one is probably the best american version I’ve had to date - really fine job. Nose is lemon rind, tarte grape skins, musty tones, yeast, citric dipped straw. Taste comprises tarte fruit, apple skin, lemon sherbet, grass. Medium to light bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and clean finale. Uber refreshing lightly puckering affair - nice !

Hazy light straw with a lemon and peach citric acidic sourness with a touch of earthy barrel. The taste is pretty sour, almost puckering but your palate adjusts. Like the nose there’s some sour lemon zest and peach fruitiness with a sour funky barrel tone that leaves a wee bit of pucker on the finish.

On tap at Churchkey during Night of the Living Ales. Huge sweettart lactic sour nose up front with some subtle graininess and very faint wood. Flavor is explosively tart and wonderful giving way to a nice wheat character and fruity notes. Really fantastic Berliner Weisse.
