hazy golden no head no lacing... tart lemon sour flavor with a touch of an astringent vinegar note... quite tart and refreshing, puckering... light carbonation, huge flavor... aroma is a touch cheesy

On tap at Gourmet Haus. Pours a hazy deep yellow with full white head. Aroma and taste are both massively tart with a cotton candy like aspect to it. A little one-sided in the tartness and unbalance for what I really like as a delicate and difficult to brew style.

Hazy, light. Oooo, tart, clean, tart, quite fruity wheaty and with nuance. I like it.

Draft at Clinton hall . Light tart salty sour and Puckery with a biting after taste . Nothing great as far as balanced. Couldn't have a whole glass ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Stone Sour Fest 2012. Very neat, mostly to-style berliner with graininess, lemony spritzy quality, very drinkable, great for a hot outdoor beer festival.

Draught at Green Street, July 2013
Lightly hazy appearance is a soft golden yellow with an initially large white head that recedes steadily to cover.
Lovely lactic notes in the nose are quite pungent, as wheat pinches in on the corners giving some cream and nuttiness. Very good strength of aroma and it seems quite complex in its variation on acidity, with wine-like notes, acetic notes and very light mustiness.
Strongly acidic up front, it softens some as the wheat and wood tannins catch up and provide something for all the acids to sink in to. Ample, almost creamy mouthfeel propelled on by an engaging carbonation that never gets loose or fizzy. Cheese, yogurt, light vinegar and a long drawn out lactic finish that allows a touch of sweetness in as it warms. Awesome stuff, glad they sent some out this way.

Sample draft from Raleigh Rare beer fest: Interesting beer. Liked the tartare Rouge better.

Tap at rrbf. Pours hazy straw golden with a small fizzy white head. Nose is strongly acetic and lactic with notes of vinegar, peach, citrus, and pear. Flavor shows some oak/wood upfront, with more funky barrel, light dry white wine, olives, and a dry, sour and puckering finish. Awesome stuff but a bit over the top to session on! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap (Bear Republic): clear, straw and light to medium head. Clean but sour. Lactic and slightly funky. Wonderful fresh citrus, orange nose. Ver sour, dry and low bitterness. Fine, long, balanced, citrus and fresh. Persistent carbonation. Wonderful and refreshing. Perfect after90 mile ride. Serves with raspberry

On tap at Bear Republic Hazy golden yellow color. No head at all. Nose is citrus acid, vinegar and grape. Very perky and uplifting smell. Tart and tart. Lots of lemon, vinegar, grape, and acid. Very acid forward but easy to drink. Prickly carbonation and dry finish. Top notch beer

Keg at the Pony Bar Hell’s Kitchen - NYC. Pours hazy gold with a fine, foamy white head. Very tart and very acetic. Some tangy fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sour finish with light vinegar. Good but bracing.
